At Bodegas Hispano Francesas, we produce high-quality Rioja wines using traditional techniques combined with modern technology. During production, we carefully select grapes to ensure only the best are used in our wines. We then ferment the grapes in stainless steel or wooden tanks, where we control the temperature and extract characteristic aromas and colors.

 

Barrel aging is a fundamental part of our Rioja wine production. We use French oak barrels for aging, which gives our wines a unique and sophisticated flavor. The duration of barrel aging depends on the type of wine, but it usually ranges from 12 to 36 months. After barrel aging, our Rioja wines are bottled and stored in the cellar for further aging in the bottle.

Our Rioja wines have an intense cherry red color with brick-red reflections in the more aged wines. On the nose, they have aromas of red and black fruits, spices, leather, and vanilla. In the mouth, these wines are smooth and velvety, with balanced acidity and mature and round tannins.
